    Air freshener for vehicles
    The present invention relates to an air freshener for vehicles, in particular, a single use air freshener with a reduced cost compared to air fresheners for conventional vehicles.
    Background of the invention
    The use of air fresheners inside vehicles is well known in the market. The interior air fresheners for vehicles comprise a plastic housing that envelops the replacement with volatile substances and a plastic fastener. This fastening element helps keep the air freshener at a certain distance from the dashboard and in the correct position on the vehicle grill.
    The great disadvantage of these products is that since the parts (housing and fastener) are plastic, the investments to be made in molds are high, which means that the product in the market is also expensive.
    Therefore, the objective of the present invention is to provide an air freshener for vehicles whose cost is as small as possible, without implying costly investments in molds.
    Description of the invention
    With the air freshener for vehicles of the invention, the aforementioned drawbacks are resolved, presenting other advantages that will be described below.
    The air freshener for vehicles according to the present invention comprises a housing where a deposit of volatile substances is housed and at least one fastening element that can be attached to an interior ventilation grill of a vehicle, and is characterized in that the housing and said to the less a fastener are made of cardboard.

    According to a preferred embodiment, the air freshener for vehicles according to the present invention comprises two fasteners that are two pins.
    Furthermore, said pins advantageously comprise a folding line at their end closest to the housing, and each pin preferably comprises a fixing groove.
    Advantageously, the air freshener for vehicles according to the present invention also comprises an external plate, which is attached to the housing and to said at least one fastening element by means of a pre-punched line, said external plate being preferably cardboard. It is intended that this external plate be used with the air freshener's own container, and for this purpose it may comprise a hole for its placement in an exhibitor for direct sale to the public.
    Thanks to these characteristics, an air freshener is achieved for vehicles with a very low cost, which allows it to be a single use air freshener, since it does not require the use of molds for its manufacture.
    Brief description of the drawings
    To better understand how much has been exposed, some drawings are combined in which, schematically and only by way of non-limiting example, a practical case of realization is represented.

    Description of a preferred embodiment
    The air freshener for vehicles according to the present invention is intended for use subject to a ventilation grill of the vehicle, such as conventional plastic air fresheners.
    The air freshener comprises a housing 1 that houses a tank 2 of volatile substances that evaporate to the environment, this evaporation being facilitated by the ventilation system of the vehicle.
    The fastening of the housing 1 in the ventilation grill of the vehicle is carried out by means of at least one fastening element 3, preferably half two pins, as can be seen in the figures.
    According to the invention, and unlike conventional vehicle air fresheners, the housing 1 and the pins 3 are made of cardboard, so that their manufacture is much simpler and cheaper than the manufacture of air fresheners with plastic parts, which require the manufacture of suitable molds.
    For the assembly of the tank 2, the housing 1 and the pins 3 are formed from two cardboard sheets joined together, the tank 2 being left between the two sheets, preferably leaving through an opening, as can be seen in the figure 3.
    In order to facilitate its placement in the ventilation grille of the vehicle, the pins 3 comprise at their end closest to the housing 1 a folding line 4, so that in their position of use the pins 3 will be approximately perpendicular to the plane defined by said housing 1.

    In addition, for its attachment to the ventilation grill of the vehicle, each pin 3 advantageously comprises a fixing slot 5, into which a slat of the ventilation grill is inserted when the air freshener is placed in its use position.
    The air freshener according to the present invention also comprises an external plate 6, which surrounds the housing 1 and the pins 3 before the first use of the air freshener. The connection between the external plate 6, the housing 1 and the pins 3 is carried out by means of a pre-threaded line 7.
    In this way, the air freshener according to the present invention is sold as a set, formed by the outer plate 6, which is also made of cardboard, the housing 1 and the pins 3. To facilitate its storage, the external plate 6 comprises a hole 8 located in its upper part to be able to hang from a shop display.
    When the user wishes to use the air freshener, he will simply have to separate the housing assembly 1, the tank 2 and the pins 3, which will be done comfortably thanks to the presence of the pre-punched line 7.
    Once this assembly is separated, the user must bend the pins 3 so that they are substantially perpendicular with respect to the plane defined by the housing 1, to allow its fastening in the ventilation grill of the car.
    It should be noted that the air freshener according to the present invention is not designed to be recharged, but its reduced cost allows it to be single use only.
    In Figures 5 to 7 three alternative embodiments of the air freshener depicted in Figures 1 to 4 and described above are depicted.
    For simplicity, the same numerical references are used to identify the same parts of the air freshener.
    The second realization (shown in Figure 5) only differs from the first realization in the form of the pins 3, which as can be evident can be of any suitable form.
    Regarding the third embodiment (represented in Figure 6), the main difference is the
    arrangement of the pins 3, which are not substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the housing 1, but are arranged at a right or acute angle to each other, as shown in Figure 5.
    5 In the fourth embodiment (shown in Figure 7), the main difference is that the pins 3 comprise a transverse folding line, so that the pins 3 remain in the position represented in this figure for their attachment to the ventilation grill vehicle.
